There’s really no need to look further than Procreate if you want to do digital art on your iPad. I just got myself a 2020 iPad Pro 12.9” and did a little review here if you want to check it out. Especially if you want to do animation in the app, you’ll need a powerful device. If you want something more suited to professional use, then look into the iPad Pro 11″ or the 12.9″ with Apple Pencil 2. For beginners getting in to digital art, I’d recommend the 8th Gen Ipad together with the Apple Pencil and Procreate. The iPad with the Apple Pencil is a great choice for a portable drawing tablet.
